Hey everyone! Happy to be here! Im from Russia, Moscow. Happy to be in really good communities, as it's quite rare in the nft space :) im quite new to this space, started learning and buying nfts last year, fall of 2021. Was excited, as i love painting myself. Like SolPunks cause they are the first project built on Solana and cheaper than CryptoPunks on ETH :) plus everyone can find themselves on those nfts :)
Hi everybody! Figured it's time I introduce myself since SolPunks has definitely become my discord home base the past couple of months. You'll find me frequently hanging out and chatting in the 🖼nft-alpha channel as I continue to learn more about Solana NFTs. I currently work in Technical Project Management in the Healthcare field. I have a lot of interests in life and thus have worked in Manufacturing as an Engineer, as a High School Math, Science, and Computer Science Teacher, and also in Data Analytics.
I am a collector at heart as I started young by collecting sports cards, comic books, and then moved into collectible trading cards. I enjoy playing strategy games and have also amassed quite the collection of strategy board and card games. Then, I got into Crypto in late 2017 and then eventually dove into NFTs last year. The SolPunk that you see as my pfp was actually the very first NFT I ever purchased back in August 2021 and I have held ever since! Crypto and NFTs are sort of the perfect mix for all of my interests in life as they combine collecting, strategy through all of the analysis involved, technology, and even gaming/sports depending on the NFT! In the NFT space, I currently focus on Solana, Ethereum, and VeVe NFTs. I also dabble here and there with other chains/platforms. Lately, I find that most of my attention is on Solana NFTs. I really like some of the utilities and opportunities that are only possible when you have a blockchain with much lower transaction fees. As far as the SolPunks community goes--I love it here! After lurking for several months, I finally started jumping into the chats and discussions a couple of months ago and I'm glad I did. Everyone here is super nice and always willing to help. We also have a lot of very intelligent folks here who are willing to share their knowledge to help others succeed. That very much fits with my style and I am so happy to be a part of this community. Keep kicking ass, SolPunks fam!
Hi team! Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been around here for a couple of weeks now, but never had the chance to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Pedro, I'm 34 years old and I'm from Portugal. My background is in Marketing and Design. On my day-to-day, I run my small Digital Marketing Agency with my girlfriend. We are the team working on the new website and social media designs for the Solpunks DAO. The website design is almost done, we are having a lot of fun building it and we have some exciting things to show. For the Social Media, we have been working on the templates and layouts for the past month, in order to start strong in April. I'm new to the NFT space, but I've already consumed loads of content on this topic in the past weeks and I'm eager to learn more. I'm completely in love with Solpunks and this whole community and want to thank you all for inviting me to be a part of the DAO. You guys have been doing great work so far, and I'm happy to help any way I can in my new Zombie role. I don't have much free time, but I'll try to be active in the community. A special thanks to @Renato (Consigliere) for showing me the light on NFTs and Solpunks. Thanks again and feel free to hop in my DM if you need anything.
Hey Solpunk fam, my nickname is EZ and I'm 26 years old. My native language is German, so please bear with me if I have some mistakes in my sentences. I'm currently writing my master thesis, but in my free time, I like to look for new and interesting NFT projects. Since I heard that our team is looking for WL hunters, I would like to apply for a zombie role and try to get WL spots for our amazing Solpunk community. I'm quite new to this space, (only minted my Solpunk last year, and then drifted away from NFTs but got more interested again in 2022) but I'm always ready to learn more about this space. This is my way to show how grateful I‘m for the Solpunk DAO and community. And if you have any questions, please just ask!
Hey team, wanted to chuck some things down. I've been in the NFT space since about September last year. Mostly rolling around eth projects but since the start of the year, I've been transitioning to sol-based projects. SolPunks was one of the first projects I joined and followed for quite a while before diving in. I've been into crypto since 2016. I work as an investment manager in Aus, so seeing how crypto is making waves against traditional assets is a frequent occurrence for me. While I don't have much time during the day, I try to stay active and watch both community and alphas. Love my punk
Figured it's about time I introduce myself. I have been in the NFT space for 3 months, and SolPunks was my second NFT. I am 33 and am a healthcare executive in the US. I was a hospital operator for the past 8 years (the past 2 years in COVID were quite the experience) and recently transitioned to running outpatient surgery centers. My job takes up most of my time but has really enjoyed seeing communities grow around NFTs and hoping I can continue to find communities I connect with and make a difference. I have been in the crypto space since 2017 but really only in this past year have I started dedicating time to learning and understanding the ecosystem and all the utilities in the space. I mostly sit back and learn but I couldn't be happier with SolPunks being the group I learn the most from. Also glad I joined the sol community early without learning about ETH gas fees...
Gm Fam. I'm, 32 and I'm a doctor (clinical pathology) in France but honestly, I find it quite boring. I lost the passion for my job, that's why I don't work a lot: around 10 days per month. I'm really grateful I can make enough for a living by doing this. But my goal is to retire early and I hope crypto will help me to achieve this. I've been in crypto and NFTs for one year and honestly, it has already been a hell of ride. I met a lot of amazing people among fantastic communities and a lot of big brains as well. It has been very inspiring so far. I wake up everyday, eager to learn something new. This crypto/NFT world is moving so fast, so glad to be part of it. After being eaten alive by ETH gas fees, I switched to Solana and told myself to never look back. My vampire Solpunk was my first Solana NFT and I will always remember the moment I sniped it at 4 am. I was so proud I tweeted it right away and went to bed, happy and excited like a child on Christmas Day. Since then I have never regretted that choice and I’m really proud to be part of this community. Thanks to you all, I’m growing every day.
26 from London. A retired pro footballer due to breaking my leg. Got into crypto in the last bull run end of 2017 and bought my first NFT in 2021. Got sick of the gas fees on ETH and didn’t have the funds for a Cryptopunk which led me to a SolPunk… now I have 2 and I’m not finished yet love the community, great idea to start separate discord. P.s want to retire on the beach in Tulum Mexico/Caribbean like @CryptoRick(🔫,🔫)
I am 22 years old from the US. I run a fitness gym with my brother and enjoy every single day as I better the lives of others! Now, is time for me to focus and gain more knowledge of NFTs and join such a great community! I mean really.. this is an outstanding project with a huge potential to grow. I will also have to agree with @BlueMagic for I did to get sick of gas fees! I have bought my SolPunk and plan on buying more very soon! … btw first round on me fellas.
Hey everyone, I’m super excited to be a part of this community! I’m a full time engineer, day/ swing trader, and a freelance CAD designer. I got into crypto in 2017 and dogecoin was my first purchase. As crypto started to become increasingly popular, I started to expand my holdings to include other Alt coins. In 2021, I fully dove into crypto to learn the ecosystem on a technical level and wanted to be a user of the blockchain than only being an investor. I looked into DAOs, NFTs, DeFi protocols. After being on OpenSea for a few months and getting rug pulled twice, I realized that the ETH NFT market has exploded and therefore become challenging to find a legitimate project that doesn’t require immense amount of capital (and gas is crazy as we all know). Then I started researching about emerging NFT marketplaces in other protocols and ultimately came across Solana. What sold me on SolPunks is that it’s the first NFT collection on SOL and the developers of the solanart marketplace are the creators of SolPunk. So I figured this project/ team is serious about achieving their goal. And I am so glad it is!!! I’m so hyped that I was able to find this project and be apart of this active building community/ DAO by getting SolPunk #8378
Figure it's about time I typed up my testimonial! Been paper handling crypto since 2017, dogecoin is my best example I sold 100,000 doge for around £2000, which would later be worth £50,000 when it hit 50p. I found Solona in late July, watched it pump, did a little research and decided this would be the one I hold. Brought in early August and been buying more every month since. Started up my twitter account to shill my SOL bags with fellow like minded individuals and decided I wanted a Solona NFT as my profile pic. I had been laughing with my work colleagues about these images selling for retarded amounts of money, mainly these pixelated images called Cryptopunks. When I found SolPunks I became a little bit obsessed, I'd wake up to take a piss in the night and open up Solanart before even making it to the bathroom. Watched many potential buys for me sell under my very nose. Stumbled across this discord thinking it to be the official SolPunks discord at the time and here I am 6 months down the line.
Hey! Just bought my first NFT ever... SolPunks #9659, not selling in 2022... so excited.
